Video: Student Production of Shakespeare鈥檚 Hamlet
After learning that they would need to depart campus early this year, members of the St. Genesius Players at Thomas Aquinas College, 天美影院, staged a performance of Shakespeare鈥檚 Hamlet. With most of the student body having already left for home, and those remaining on campus practicing 鈥渟ocial distancing鈥 to the extent possible, the performance took place in a mostly empty St. Cecilia Hall. Yet hopeful that their efforts 鈥 the fruits of months of rehearsal 鈥 could be enjoyed by as many people as possible, the cast and crew arranged for the production to be recorded. The result is the above video, which will provide a welcome respite during this time of involuntary isolation!
