A Wisconsin native and the seventh of eight siblings, Pat Mazza (’23) will be returning to the ����ӰԺ campus later this month to serve as a prefect on the 2021 High School Program.

“I fell in love with TAC solely because of this summer program, and this will be my last time working it,” says Mikaela Heal (’21), a two-time past prefect and a member of the College’s newest graduating class. 

In a few months, Dillon Raum (’21) will head out to Scottsdale, Arizona, to teach Euclid to high school students. First, though, he is returning to the ����ӰԺ campus to serve, for the third time, as a prefect for the High School Great Books Summer Program.

Alumna Helen Blain (’20) returns to the Summer Program for her fifth year as a prefect — and her first on the New England campus. Since graduating from TAC last year, she has completed her first year of graduate studies at the Augustine Institute, where she is pursuing a master’s degree in theology. 

Hailing from Lomita, ����ӰԺ, Orion LaCour (CA’22) has the special privilege of being a prefect this summer for the High School Summer Program on both coasts. 

Angela Díaz-Bonilla (’24), a rising sophomore from Vienna, Virginia, will be a High School Program prefect for the first time this summer, although attended the program when she was a high school student. “It was a whole new world, intellectually speaking, and the Socratic Method of discussion took my understanding of the books to another level,” she recalls. 

“I’m excited to meet all the new attendees and to share in their enthusiasm, and I’m really excited to work with the other prefects — we have a great crew!” exclaims Gabe Kopp (’22).
