"I would say I am more of an entrepreneur than anything else,” says Karen Walker (’76), seasoned journalist, PR professional, and founder of the Catholic Business Journal and “The Mentors Radio” show. Since graduating from the College in 1976, Ms. Walker has built a career around bringing together Catholics in the business world. 

As a boy, alumnus attorney Justin Alvarez (’97) was curious — and precocious.

“I am absolutely thrilled to join the Board,” says Anthony Grumbine (’00), an award-winning architect whom the Thomas Aquinas College Board of Governors elected to its ranks in October.

“My husband, Matt, has always loved bringing people together through food and cooking, and we both share a passion for elegant tools and instruments,” notes Dorianne (Drogin ’11) Hull.

After 16 years with Apple, Inc., Nathan Haggard (’99) retired last year at the age of 45. “In 2006 I joined Apple to help sell computers and video-editing systems to Hollywood,” he says. Over the years, those responsibilities expanded far beyond Hollywood.
